In addition to three world-class performances, the ‘Sino Group Arts Celebration Series’ has brought four 'Festival PLUS' programmes of the 47th Hong Kong Arts Festival, including two pre-concert talks hosted by Calvin Lai, Music Educator, and Dr Derek Anthony, renowed vocal coach and singing teacher, and the Quartetto di Cremona Post-Performance Meet-the-Artist and Lecture Demonstration. The Quartet shared the history behind their antique instruments and compared the sound of the old and modern instruments. They also performed experts from works by Wolf, Beethoven and Bartok.
 
The Ng Teng Fong Charitable Foundation has sponsored a ballet of The Nutcracker staged by The Hamburg Ballet - John Neumeier and a pre-performance talk on‘The Art of Networking’. The Foundation also hosted 40 upper primary students to the performance, offering them an opportunity to appreciate John Neumeier’s new interpretation of this classic ballet.
